About this gaming cafe

122 words · editorial

Playerbase occupies unit 228 at 7850 Woodbine Avenue in Markham, in the Toronto metro. The floor holds at least 40 PCs — the second-largest published count among the seven Toronto venues on our list, behind Invictus Game Station on Yonge Street — at $5 an hour, with tournaments attached.

The listed schedule runs around the clock — the only 24/7 venue in Toronto on our list; two reviewers specifically mention the late hours. With 204 Google reviews, it is the second-most-reviewed room in our Toronto listing, behind Invictus Game Station.

The rating is 3.9, and the 84 detailed reviews show why: food and drinks lead (19 mentions) with the atmosphere and cleanliness at nine each — but seven reviews call it pricey and two mention lag or tech issues. Both sides are in the record.
