About this internet cafe

144 words · editorial

Giga bites is on Bloor Street West in Toronto. It has no website, so the room comes through its reviews: three tiers of machine, from an i5-6500 with a GTX 1060 at the bottom to an RTX 3080 Ti with a 240Hz monitor at the top. The number of seats is not published.

No rate is published either. Reviews put the standard hour at about C$4, half an hour at C$2, and an overnight block from 22:00 to 07:00 at C$10. Printing, snacks and drinks are sold alongside the gaming floor.

Google lists the cafe as open from 15:00 to midnight, to 06:00 on Friday and Saturday, and closed on Sunday; one review describes it as running around the clock, so check before a late visit.

Across 62 reviews with text, price is the most common subject at 21 mentions and hardware at 20. Cleanliness is raised ten times and staff nine.
