JFK has two Gameway lounges, one in Terminal 5 near Gate 7 and one in Terminal 8 near Gate 8. Both hold eight gaming PCs and nine console stations, both have a retro game bar with classic consoles, and both sell snacks and drinks — the kit is the same in each.
What differs is the clock. Terminal 5 opens at 04:00, the earliest opening of any lounge on this site, which covers the first departure wave out of New York. Terminal 8 opens at 06:00. Both close at 22:00. An hour costs $29.95, half an hour $19.95, and unlimited play $49.95.
Ratings are level as well: 4.7 in both rooms, on 73 reviews in Terminal 5 and 63 in Terminal 8. Both sit past security, so the lounge you can use is the one in the terminal your flight leaves from.
