How we build GamingCafeMap

GamingCafeMap lists places where you can sit down at a gaming PC or a console and pay for the time: gaming cafes, PC bangs and LAN shops, esports centers, and gaming lounges inside airports. Every number below is recounted from the database each time this page loads.

What we list, and what we leave out

A venue is listed when gaming stations are the main reason to go and the public can walk in and pay for time.

On the list

  • Gaming cafes and PC bangs
  • LAN shops and internet cafes with gaming machines
  • Esports centers with a public floor
  • Gaming lounges inside airports
  • Arcades that also run twenty or thirty PCs

Left out

  • Slot machines and sweepstakes rooms using the word “gaming”
  • Betting cafes and arcades built around cabinets
  • Board-game cafes and bars with no gaming stations
  • Esports teams and agencies with no room of their own
  • Game shops, and university arenas open only to students

The Google category decides nothing on its own: 141 venues are filed as “Internet cafe”, the rest across 26 other categories, from “Travel lounge” to “Cocktail bar”. Software sorts the queue; a person approves or rejects each venue and records why. A city page needs three venues, so approved venues in smaller cities wait; an airport page needs two lounges, otherwise the airport lives on the hub.

PC counts

No map service publishes how many PCs a venue has, so we collect it. 164 of 243 venues carry a figure, 5,095 machines in all.

Counted by hand 76
From the venue’s site 77
From a review 10

Nobody from our team has been inside these venues. The counts were made from photographs, venue pages and public statements by operators. That is why every figure carries its source, and why a photo count is published as a minimum rather than a total.

“20+” means at least 20, and is shown that way: 62 of the 164 figures are minimums, where the room ran past the edge of the frame or a second hall could not be counted. 79 venues have no figure, and their pages say so instead of showing an estimate. One airport lounge has consoles and no PCs, and shows zero.

“Open 24/7” means 00:00 to 24:00 on all seven days. “Open past midnight” means closing after midnight on at least one day, the 24/7 ones included. Hours change without notice, so call before a late session.

Many venues sell day passes, packages or memberships rather than hours, so each model is stored separately and in local currency. The rest keep prices in a booking widget, on social media or nowhere, and their pages say so.

What visitors mention

Topics come from our own dictionary of 18 topics, three of them complaints: pricey, lag or tech issues, and staff complaints. We count reviews rather than repeated words, a topic appears from two reviews up, and the number of reviews read is printed beside it. 155 venues carry topic counts.

The dictionary matches keywords and does not read negation, so “not clean” can land in the clean count. Treat the figures as a rough signal. We do not quote review text and we do not hide complaints.

How comparisons are calculated

Lines such as “one of 13 venues in Singapore on our list open past midnight” come from a query over the database, not from a writer, and are recalculated when the data changes. A ranking needs enough behind it:

  • “Largest” three venues in the city with a published figure
  • “Lowest hourly rate” three published prices in the same city
  • “Most reviewed” 100 reviews and three venues

When sources disagree

The order of trust runs from left to right:

  1. StrongestA manual check
  2. ThenA moderator’s note
  3. ThenThe venue’s own website
  4. WeakestA single review

A number resting on one review is the weakest thing we publish, and is re-checked against photos before it can carry a comparison: a venue that one review put at 100 PCs is now listed at 50 or more. The same check caught a chain that had given the same 50 PCs to eleven rooms.

Keeping it current, and corrections

The listings were collected in August 2026, corrections and manual counts have been applied since, and every venue page carries the date it was last checked and the list of sources behind it. In September 2026 the twelve Gameway airport lounges were re-read against the chain’s own location pages, which were not published when we first collected them: that added a price to every one of those rooms and changed four of the PC counts.

If something is wrong, tell us: use the correction link on the venue page, or write to [email protected] with the venue name and the detail. If you run the venue you can claim the listing and correct it yourself, free, under the terms.

What this directory does not know

  • We have not been inside these venues, and a count made from photographs can miss a room.
  • We searched around the largest cities of eight countries, so smaller towns are missing.
  • 79 venues have no PC count, 55 no website, 126 no published price. Those gaps are shown as gaps.
  • Whether an airport lounge is past security is not stated by the operator. We take it from the gate numbers: a lounge beside a numbered gate is past security.
  • Review topics are keyword counts, not verified opinions, and contact details came from public sources, unchecked one by one.

For assistants and other machines

A summary of what this directory holds, how to read a missing value and where the main pages are lives at /llms.txt, rebuilt from the database on every request so its numbers cannot drift. The full page list is in sitemap.xml.

If you quote a figure from here, please keep the distinction the venue pages make: a blank field means the venue does not publish that number, not that the number is zero.
