About this gaming lounge
166 words · editorialThe UW Esports Gaming Lounge fills about 1,000 square feet inside the Husky Union Building on the University of Washington campus in Seattle; the building's own page calls it simply the Esports Gaming Lounge. It is the one Seattle venue on this list.
Thirty-eight gaming computers make up the floor. The rate card is what establishes that outsiders may play: $3.50 an hour for UW students, $4.50 for faculty and staff, and $6.50 for anyone off campus. Students can buy ten hours for $30; the off-campus rate is sold by the hour.
Hours move with the academic quarter rather than the calendar. The schedule published for Fall Quarter, 28 September to 18 December 2026, is 10:00 to 22:00 Monday to Thursday, 10:00 to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday, and closed on Sunday except for events.
The lounge has no entry of its own in Google Maps - a search returns the Husky Union Building and the cafe inside it - so there is no rating to report here, and no record of the hours other than the university's.
