About this arena

116 words · editorial

Riot Games Arena sits on West Olympic Boulevard in west Los Angeles, part of the campus Riot Games uses as its headquarters. It opened in 2013 as the studio for League of Legends competition and carried the name LCS Arena until 2023.

The hall holds 300 people. It is a broadcast venue before it is a public one: matches of the League Championship Series and the Valorant Champions Tour Americas are played here, and the only way in is a ticket to one of them. There is no gaming floor, no hourly rate and nothing to walk into on an ordinary day.

It is one of three arenas Riot runs; the others are in Berlin and São Paulo.
