Getting in. Entry is free; you pay only to play. Minimum age 13, with a guardian under 18 and stricter rules after 9pm: M-rated games need 17+ with a 21+ guardian, AO-rated 18+.

217 words · editorialHyperX Arena Las Vegas is inside the Luxor Hotel & Casino on South Las Vegas Boulevard. It is an event venue first - Google files it as an arena - with walk-in play in a separate Game Lounge alongside the competition space.
The arena lists 100 or more gaming PCs, open for casual play when no event is running — against 30 at Evo Club and 25 at Velocity, the other two venues in Las Vegas on this list. Consoles, a broadcast setup and racing simulators are part of the room.
An hour is $15, two hours $25, four hours $40, an eight-hour day pass $50 and a 24-hour Weekend Warrior $125. Racing simulators are priced apart, at $30 for half an hour and $50 for an hour. Anyone with a Nevada ID gets double the time for the same money, so a local pays $15 for two hours rather than one.
Hours need checking. The Game Lounge page gives 12:00 to 21:00 on Sunday, Monday and Thursday to Saturday with the arena shut on Tuesday and Wednesday, while the arena's own prices page shows Sunday to Thursday 12:00 to 21:00 and Friday and Saturday to 23:00. The two disagree, Google holds no hours at all, and events close the floor - the calendar on the site is the only reliable answer.
