About this gaming cafe

141 words · editorial

Black Ants Gaming Lab is an internet cafe in a unit on Bellaire Boulevard in southwest Houston. It has no website, so no PC count or rate is published anywhere that can be read.

Reviewers fill part of that gap. Across the 81 reviews read for this page, seven put the rate at $5 to $6 an hour, the higher figure being the machines with the better graphics cards; one mentions 144Hz monitors. None of them counts the seats.

Doors open at 11:00 and close at 02:00 from Sunday to Thursday, running to 03:00 on Friday and Saturday. That makes it one of two venues in Houston open past midnight.

The rating is 4.4 from 325 Google reviews, the most-reviewed venue on the Houston list. In those 81 reviews the atmosphere comes up 11 times, cleanliness 9 and food and drink 8; three mention lag or technical trouble and two call it pricey.

Features

None published. This is a gap in the record, not a statement about the place.
