About this gaming cafe

125 words · editorial

The Alienware Longhorn Esports Lounge sits at 2308 Whitis Avenue on the University of Texas campus in Austin. The site lists 49 PCs — Alienware machines on RTX 4070 Ti cards with 360Hz monitors — the largest published floor among the three Austin venues on our list. Coaching and a console area are attached.

The lounge prices students and everyone else separately: a guest pays from $2.50 an hour and $12 for a day pass, a UT student from $2 and $10. The guest rate is still the lowest published hourly rate in Austin on our list. Doors run from noon to 22:30 on most days, Sundays off.

The review base is thin for the floor size: 4.8 across 41 Google reviews, with only 18 going into detail — the atmosphere (3 mentions) and cleanliness (2) lead what little there is.
